Like everyone, I recently turned another year older.
On that day, I was a little creeped out to find a Happy Birthday Google Doodle when I went to search for something on Google.com.
But I was not surprised at all. Google knows a lot about me. And about you too.
This is all information we traded for their wonderful “free” services.
Not to mention, what Google knows about me pales in comparison to what Amazon knows about me and my shopping habits.
While we’re talking about shopping habits, I’m sure I give loyalty programs more info than I do to Big G also.
My local grocery stores sure know a lot about me – and I tell them more each time I make a purchase.
So thanks, Google. You can be a creepy big brother sometimes, but you were the only one of my data-stalkers to wish me a happy birthday.
(I’m looking at you, Kroger.)
